Roger-Marx 85. Bouvet 98. Signed. Titled and inscribed in different writing "Epreuve d'Essai". Monogrammed on the stone. One of 5 trial proofs before the edition of 35. On Chine. 23,5 : 31,5 cm (9,2 : 12,4 in). Sheet: 32,2 x 49,8 cm (12,6 x 19,6 in).
In the margins a few hardly visible defects. In the area of the passe-partout cut slightly discoloured. Verso mounted loosely. Otherwise in quite a good condition. [EH]
