GW 3237. - Hain/Cop. 2352. - Goff B 48. - BSB B-33. - Erste Ausgabe. - "The author's name is not given in the book, which has also been ascribed to Susato (Soest), but it is shown to be Bandello's work by the réchauffé dedicated by him to the Duke of Ferrara under the title De singulari puritate et praerogatiua conceptionis Saluatoris nostri and first printed by Rugerius at Bologna in 1481" (BMC VI, 726). - V. Bandellus de Castronovo war Professor in Bologna und ab 1501 General des Dominikanerordens. - Seitensteg mit leichtem Wasserrand, erste und letzte 3 Bll. etw. fingerfleckig und mit geringen Randläsuren, 1 Bl. mit Eintrag in Farbstift, Vorsatz mit Eintragung von alter Hand, erstes Bl. mit altem Besitzvermerk; letzte 6 Bll gelöst. Einbd. mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren.First edition. 16th century half vellum. - Margin at side slightly waterstained, first and last 3 leaves somewhat fingerstained and little marginal defects, last 6 leaves loosened. Binding worn.
